Private Pilot Licence Helicopters (PPL-H)

You may commence training at any age and anytime

A private helicopter licence allows you to fly anywhere in Australia but you cannot fly for money, this is reserved for the Commercial license holder.

To hold a Private Pilots Licence, you must be at least 17 years of age at the time of the flight test, have passed the PPLH theory exam as set by CASA, met all that is required to meet CASA Standards and have completed a total a minimum of 40 hours flight training.

Flight Training

No previous aviation or academic experience necessary.

To complete flight training you must have a minimum of 40 hours aeronautical experience as a pilot
